The Village of Anmore has been awarded $375,000 from the Pacific Economic Development Canada (PacifiCan) to improve Spirit Park, including upgrading critical infrastructure to address ongoing drainage issues, increasing accessibility for future community events within Spirit Park and installing new playground equipment. PacifiCan is the federal economic development agency dedicated to British Columbians. PacifiCan works with partners who are building innovative businesses, creating quality jobs, and supporting inclusive growth throughout our province.
The CCRF is a two-year, $500 million national infrastructure program that helps not-for-profit organizations, municipalities, and Indigenous communities build and improve community infrastructure and public spaces across Canada.
