UPDATE: Low Fire Danger Rating With Restrictions Rescinded

Please note that Sasamat Fire Department has advised that the fire danger rating has been changed to a Low Fire Danger rating with restrictions rescinded immediately as of August 26, 2024. This includes the campfire ban.

 Campfires are now allowed within the Village of Anmore provided you have a valid permit and the fire is no bigger than .5m X .5m. Please remember when enjoying a campfire, the smoke needs to be ventilated vertically and you should only be burning clean, dry firewood. The burning of yard debris and construction debris is never allowed.
