Village Awarded $32,000 for Community Wildfire Resiliency Plan

The Village of Anmore has been awarded $32,000 through the 2024 Community Resiliency Investment (CRI) program to develop a comprehensive Community Wildfire Resiliency Plan. This funding will enhance Anmore’s efforts to reduce the risk and impact of wildfires in our community.

The grant, which comes from the Ministry of Forests and administered by the Union of B.C. Municipalities, will support critical activities aimed at improving our wildfire preparedness and response capabilities.
