Tax Certificates
A Tax Certificate is an official document that outlines the current status of property taxes on a specific property, including any outstanding balances. These are commonly requested during real estate transactions or for personal records.
How to Request a Tax Certificate
1. Online (Credit Card)
Tax Certificates can be purchased by credit card through our third-party provider, OptionPay.
- Visit OptionPay’s website
- Select “Tax Certificate” as your transaction type
- Enter the required details and payment amount
- The applicable fee will be automatically calculated and applied

2. In Person (Residents Only)
Residents may attend Municipal Hall and request a Tax Certificate at no charge. Proof of identification and property ownership is required.
What Happens Next?
Once your payment has been successfully processed, your Tax Certificate will be prepared and sent to the email address provided within 48 hours.

- The municipality cannot provide tax certificate information over the phone
- Please ensure your contact information is entered correctly at the time of request
- Processing times may vary slightly during high-volume periods
