October 14 2026
The Village of Anmore sent out an advisory message on October 14, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. through Alertable Canada to raise awareness of the annual BC ShakeOut earthquake drill, taking place Thursday, October 15, at 10:15 a.m. Learn more at shakeoutbc.ca.
This advisory is also an opportunity to continue testing Alertable, the Village’s emergency notification system, and help residents become familiar with receiving alerts. The message sent as a silent notification and is available to view in the Alertable app. This means no sound or notification alert was triggered.
No action is required in response to today’s advisory message. We encourage residents to participate in the ShakeOut drill tomorrow and practise how to stay safe during an earthquake.
