What is Cloudpermit?

The Village of Anmore now uses Cloudpermit to manage building and plumbing permit applications online. Cloudpermit provides a convenient, secure way for homeowners, contractors, builders, and developers to submit applications, upload documents, communicate with staff, and track the status of their permits from any computer or mobile device.

Benefits of Cloudpermit

With Cloudpermit, you can:

  • Apply for permits anytime, from anywhere with an internet connection.
  • Save your application and return to complete it later.
  • Upload plans, drawings, and supporting documents electronically.
  • Track the status of your application and receive automatic email updates.
  • Communicate directly with Village staff through the application.
  • Schedule building inspections online.
  • Request revisions or submit additional information if required.

Before You Apply

Determine whether your project requires a permit. A building permit is required when you plan to construct, renovate, demolish or change the use of a building. Information about building permit requirements is available online at anmore.com/building-requirements. Be sure to review permit requirements and gather your supporting documents required for your submission.

In addition to your building permit, a business licence will be required for all contractors, and depending on the project, you may need supporting permits like a Highway Use permit, Tree Management Permit, or Erosion and Sediment Control Plan Permit. Refer to our building guide to determine what you’ll need.

Before creating your application, please have:

  • Property address
  • Contractor information (if applicable)
  • Digital copies of plans and supporting documents (PDF preferred)
  • Required forms
  • Payment method (when applicable)
