Anmore’s Operations Yard Upgrades Moves Forward

We’re excited to share that Anmore’s Operations Yard upgrades at 100 Buntzen Creek Road is moving forward. The project marks a positive step toward improved facilities to better support Public Works and the essential services residents rely on every day.

The upgrades will address limitations at the existing facility, including the need for improved vehicle and equipment storage and workspace for Public Works activities. The project includes a new operations building and site improvements, such as grading, drainage and servicing upgrades. The facility is also intended to temporarily accommodate Sasamat Volunteer Fire Department (SVFD) operations during the anticipated firehall replacement.

Construction is anticipated to be substantially complete in August 2027, with final closeout activities expected to continue into September 2027. These dates are preliminary and may be adjusted as the project progresses.
