UPDATE: Low Fire Danger Rating With Restrictions Rescinded

Please note that Sasamat Fire Department has advised that the fire danger rating has been changed to a Low Fire Danger rating with previous restrictions rescinded immediately as of May 15, 2026. 

Campfires are now allowed within the Village of Anmore provided you have a valid permit and the fire is no bigger than 0.5m x 0.5m. Please remember when enjoying a campfire, smoke must vent vertically and only clean, dry firewood should be used. The burning of yard debris and construction debris is never permitted.
