Metro Vancouver Announces Stage 3 Water Restrictions Begin on June 8, 2026

Metro Vancouver has announced that Stage 3 water restrictions will take effect on June 8, 2026.

Under Stage 3 restrictions, lawn watering remains prohibited. Trees, shrubs, and flowers may be watered by hand or with drip irrigation only; sprinklers and soaker hoses are not permitted. Vegetable gardens may be watered at any time.

Additional restrictions also apply to filling pools and hot tubs, and washing vehicles, boats, driveways, sidewalks, and other outdoor surfaces.
