Construction Begins on the Dr. Hal Weinberg Spirit Park Expansion

Construction is now underway on the Dr. Hal Weinberg Spirit Park Expansion.

During this initial phase of construction, the existing Dr. Hal Weinberg Spirit Park and Ravenswood Drive remain open for public use. Construction activities are taking place within designated work areas that will be fenced off. Additional changes to road access and park access will be communicated in advance as they are confirmed.

Over the coming weeks, residents can expect to see contractor mobilization, installation of construction fencing, tree protection, site preparation, grading, and the establishment of construction staging areas within the project site.

As part of the approved project, there will be tree removal and replanting within the construction area to accommodate the new road alignment and park improvements, including regrading.

Please use caution around the construction area, obey all posted signage, and allow extra time when travelling near the site.
