Annual Ditching Program Underway in Anmore

The Village of Anmore’s annual ditching program begins today.

This important work involves removing sediment build-up from ditches and drainage channels to ensure proper flow and capacity. By maintaining these systems, we can help reduce flood risks in water-prone areas while also protecting and strengthening local fish and wildlife habitat.

Village crews will be working along roadsides in various locations for approximately three weeks. During this time, occasional single-lane traffic management measures may be in place.
