Increase in Illegal Dumping Along Anmore Roads
June 1 2026
There has been an increase in illegal dumping of furniture and household waste along several roads in the Village of Anmore.
Illegal dumping harms the environment, attracts wildlife, creates safety concerns, and increases cleanup costs for the community. Let’s keep Anmore safe, clean, and beautiful for everyone. Residents are reminded to use approved disposal and recycling facilities. The United Boulevard Recycling and Waste Centre offers a full-service recycling depot where many materials can be dropped off free of charge.
Improper disposal of waste may be subject to enforcement action and fines under Village bylaws. If you witness illegal dumping, please report it to the Village. If possible, include details such as the location, time, vehicle description, or licence plate information.
If illegal dumping is in progress, contact the non-emergency Coquitlam RCMP at 604-945-1550.
For incidents not in progress, please report concerns or illegal dumping to our Bylaw Officer at anmore.com/reporting-concerns/
