Additional 5% Penalty Added to Unpaid Property Taxes

If you missed the property tax deadline, we encourage you to pay your outstanding taxes as soon as possible to avoid an additional penalty.

A 5% penalty was applied on July 3, and a further 5% penalty will be applied to any outstanding current taxes on October 1, 2026 (payment must be received by the Village by Sept 30 to avoid penalty). 

Properties with delinquent taxes are subject to the annual tax sale process, scheduled for September 28, 2026. If you have outstanding taxes or have questions about your account, please contact the Village or make your payment as soon as possible.
