Candidate Nomination Period Now Open for the 2026 Local General Election

The candidate nomination period is now open for the 2026 Anmore Local General Election, taking place on Saturday, October 17, 2026.

The Chief Election Officer will accept nominations for the offices of Mayor, Councillor, and School Trustee (Anmore/Belcarra) until 4 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2026.

Candidate information, nomination forms, and the current list of nominated candidates are available at anmore.com/elections. The list of nominated candidates will be updated regularly as nomination papers and candidate profile information are received and processed.

Candidates may withdraw their nomination until 4 p.m. on Friday, September 18, 2026.
