Construction Update: Ravenswood Drive Realignment & Dr. Hal Weinberg Spirit Park Expansion

Construction continues on the Dr. Hal Weinberg Spirit Park Expansion and Ravenswood Drive Road Realignment, with temporary traffic management occurring at times along Ravenswood Drive, including brief stops and single-lane traffic.

The previously anticipated September 14 start date for the partial closure of Ravenswood Drive has been delayed. The closure is now tentatively anticipated to begin around September 30, 2026, and continue into late-October. Timelines are subject to change due to ongoing construction coordination and engineering updates. Vehicle access to nearby properties will be maintained via Hemlock Drive, and Dr. Hal Weinberg Spirit Park will remain open at this time.

As previously communicated, some trees within the construction area are scheduled to be removed during the week of September 22, 2026. Tree removal and replanting are required to accommodate the new road alignment, park improvements and regrading.
