Municipal Office Closed September 30 for National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
September 25 2026
The Village of Anmore will be closed on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
This day is an opportunity to reflect on the ongoing impacts of the residential school system and honour the strength, resilience and contributions of Indigenous Peoples. We encourage everyone to take time for learning and reflection. Consider attending a local event, supporting Indigenous-led initiatives, learning from Indigenous voices, or taking time to deepen your understanding of the history and ongoing impacts of residential schools.
