Halloween Reminders for Anmore
October 26 2026
Halloween is this Saturday! As families prepare for trick-or-treating, barricades will be in place in the Birch Wynde and Ravenswood neighbourhoods during the early evening on October 31 to support safe trick-or-treating. Access will be limited to residents and pedestrians.
🚧 Construction access: Ravenswood Drive remains partially closed near Dr. Hal Weinberg Spirit Park. Vehicle access to the neighbourhood is via Hemlock Drive but pedestrians can still use the east–west trail through Dr. Hal Weinberg Spirit Park that is behind the property lines. The Halloween pedestrian barricade for Ravenswood Drive will be placed near Magnolia Way. View the construction access map to review the alternate routes.
Coquitlam RCMP is also reminding residents to plan ahead, stay alert, and enjoy the festivities safely. Officers will be conducting increased patrols throughout communities with additional officers deployed across Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Village of Anmore, Village of Belcarra and kʷikʷəƛ̓əm First Nation on Halloween. Learn more safety tips from the Coquitlam RCMP at https://rcmp.ca/en/bc/coquitlam/news/2026/10/4358164.
If you’re heading out this Halloween, please ensure safety for our trick-or-treaters by being mindful of pedestrians on the road. Please also be considerate of neighbours, pets and our forested surroundings. Loud explosions and inappropriate fireworks use can put people and property at risk.
Have a safe and enjoyable Halloween, Anmore!
