Official Notices

Under provincial legislation, including the Local Government Act and the Community Charter, the Village is required to issue official notices to the community.

As an example, the Village issues official notices as part of the Public Hearing Process. There are also other miscellaneous notices posted as needed. All official notices can be found here and on our official bulletin board at the entrance of the Community Hub.

General Notices

NOTICE is hereby given that the Village of Anmore intends to participate in one or more procurements conducted by the Canoe Procurement Group of Canada (“Canoe”) in accordance with Chapter Five, Article 504.7 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement.

The Village of Anmore is a member of Canoe Procurement Group of Canada and may procure goods and services through the cooperative contracts administered by Canoe between March 16, 2026 and February 3, 2027.

Canoe is a not-for-profit group purchasing organization that leverages the collective buying power of more than 6,000 public sector members and provides access to trade-compliant procurement processes for a wide range of competitively priced goods and services.

Vendors interested in becoming an approved Canoe supplier must follow Canoe’s registration and competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) process.

Public Hearing Notices

NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to section 466 of the Local Government Act, that Anmore Municipal Council will hold a Public Hearing to consider the proposed Village of Anmore Official Community Plan Bylaw Amendment No. 726-2025 (the“Proposed Bylaw”) in Council Chambers at the Anmore Community Hub, 2697 Sunnyside Road, Anmore on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, starting at 6:00 p.m.

The purpose of the Proposed Bylaw is to amend the existing Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 532-2014 (the “OCP”) to incorporate updates required to meet new provincial housing legislation and ensure consistency with Metro Vancouver’s Regional Growth Strategy. The OCP serves as the guiding vision for the community’s future growth and development.
