Official Notices

Under provincial legislation, including the Local Government Act and the Community Charter, the Village is required to issue official notices to the community.

As an example, the Village issues official notices as part of the Public Hearing Process. There are also other miscellaneous notices posted as needed. All official notices can be found here and on our official bulletin board at the entrance of the Community Hub.

NOTICE OF CONSIDERATION

ANMORE PROCEDURE BYLAW AMENDMENT BYLAW NO. 738-2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the Village of Anmore Council will consider final adoption of Anmore Procedure Bylaw Amendment Bylaw No. 738-2026, at the Regular Council Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers at the Anmore Community Hub, 2697 Sunnyside Road, Anmore, BC.

The proposed amendments include updates to the Public Input period following Information Items on the agenda, termination of Public Input and Public Question periods during the election nomination period, and removal of Section 64(b).

Members of the public may speak to the bylaw in-person at the meeting during public input or can submit written comments for Council’s consideration in-person at the Anmore Community Hub or by email to village.hall@anmore.com. Written submissions must be delivered prior to 3 p.m. on March 17. 2026.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Village of Anmore intends to participate in one or more procurements conducted by the Canoe Procurement Group of Canada (“Canoe”) in accordance with Chapter Five, Article 504.7 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement.

The Village of Anmore is a member of Canoe Procurement Group of Canada and may procure goods and services through the cooperative contracts administered by Canoe between March 16, 2026 and February 3, 2027.

Canoe is a not-for-profit group purchasing organization that leverages the collective buying power of more than 6,000 public sector members and provides access to trade-compliant procurement processes for a wide range of competitively priced goods and services.

Vendors interested in becoming an approved Canoe supplier must follow Canoe’s registration and competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) process.

Anmore Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 735-2026

NOTICE is hereby given that Council will consider first, second, third and fourth reading of Anmore Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 735-2026 in Council Chambers at the Anmore Community Hub, 2697 Sunnyside Road, Anmore on Tuesday, March 17th, 2026, starting at 7:00 p.m.

The proposed bylaw would amend the Floor Area Ratio (FAR) for 38-3295 Sunnyside Road from 0.6 to 0.74.
