Sunnyside Road Multi-Use Pathway – Construction Update

Construction on the Sunnyside Road Multi-Use Pathway Project is progressing northbound along Sunnyside Road, with the next phase of work beginning near East Road on Monday, November 2. Over the next couple of weeks, the existing asphalt pathway will be removed and widened in preparation for repaving.

What to expect:

• Temporary closure of pedestrian access along the sidewalks within the active construction area for approximately two weeks.
• Single-lane alternating traffic as construction progresses northbound along Sunnyside Road.
• Construction activity and temporary traffic control as crews remove and widen the existing pathway.

The contractor will work to minimize disruptions wherever possible. Residents are asked to follow posted signage and directions from traffic control personnel.

Construction is anticipated to continue through late November, weather permitting. Please note, all timelines are subject to change.
