Regular Council Meeting

We are happy to announce that we will be returning to in-person Council meetings starting July 6, 2021. Under the Restart Plan Step 2, masks and physical distancing are still required, and we will be taking direction from the Provincial Health Office and Ministry of Municipal Affairs regarding safety requirements at the meeting. A few things to note:
– Depending on the Restart Plan step status at the time of the meeting, there could be a limit on the number of people who can attend the meeting in person. We will let residents know what the requirements are after the provincial announcement related to the Restart Plan that is expected for July 1, 2021.
– The Ministry of Municipal Affairs has advised that its preference is for local governments to take steps to enable people to come in person to the meeting – which we are doing.
– We will continue to livestream the meeting via YouTube for people to watch online; however, it will not be possible for viewers to ask questions or submit comments as the meeting is not on Zoom so we do not have the technical capacity for this type of online interaction.
